Site work and paving for a road / highway in Monroe, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Formal bids will be received by the Walton County Board of Commissioners for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for milling and deep patching on various roads and streets located in Walton County for the 2022 paving season. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be required. In lieu of a bid bond, a cashier's check, cash or an irrevocable letter of credit may be accepted. Both a performance and payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with Walton County named as additional insured. Contractors must also provide a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E-Verify. This form must be notarized. The Walton County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informality and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Walton County Board of Commissioners and the municipalities. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed
