Renovation of a museum in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The City of Hamilton will only be accepting bid submissions from Heritage Masons that were pre-qualified through pre-qualification process C14-08-19. The work to be undertaken for this project involves the restoration of the foundation at Griffin House National Historical Site located at 733 Mineral Springs Rd, Dundas, ON L9H 5E3, which includes but is not limited to: - temporary shoring, - dismantling of foundation walls, - restoration of wood windows and doors, - fabrication of wood doors, - replacement of below grade cast-in-place concrete stairs, and - rebuilding of stone foundation with salvaged material. The estimated start date will be May 2022, with substantial completion achieved by October 31, 2022. Documents can be obtained at: https://hamilton.bidsandtenders.ca Award subject to final approval.
