Renovation of a medical facility in Richmond, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for Richmond Hospital: New electrical feed from Richmond Hospital South Power Plant (SPP) to Ilich Pavilion and associated downstream power distribution system. The electrical contractor will be responsible for the supply and installation of all electrical equipment associated with the project. A new 1600AF/800AT power breaker will be required to be installed in the main normal power switchboards located in the South Power Plant. Four parallel runs of #500kcmil AL cabling, either TECK90 feeder or RW90 in conduit or combination thereof, will be provided between the South Power Plant and llich Pavilion main electrical room. The cabling will run in the underground tunnel which runs throughout the hospital (confined space training is a requirement), through hospital, and outside in trench (currently softscape area). A new 800A SquareD QED-2 switchboard will be provided in the llich electrical room which in turn will various step-down transformers and distribution boards.
