The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) is issuing this RFP to invite interested and qualified Proponents to submit a Proposal for FNHA’s MVOP Wayfinding and Signage project. The FNHA is planning to consolidate multiple downtown administrative office leases into a new building being constructed on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land. The building will consolidate much of FNHA’s existing Metro Vancouver office workforce into a single administrative office building, and allow FNHA to substantially reduce the amount of space it leases in Metro Vancouver. The building will incorporate environmental sustainability considerations and will be built with BC Mass timber wood products. The building will reflect the location on Tsleil-Waututh lands and the relationship between FNHA and the Takaya Wolf Clan. The materials and build form will also reflect its unique location. The building design reflects a Coast Salish style plank house. The landscape design recognizes the deep connection the Tsleil-Waututh people have to nature; from the waters of Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm to the peaks of the North Shore Mountains. This connection inspired the use of rocks, water, and native plants. There is consideration for circulation with a walking path, gathering spaces, seating and native shrubs and berry patches. FNHA requires a fully integrated wayfinding and signage solution for the new building that will assist users when navigating the site.
