The City of Ithaca invites contractors to submit sealed bids for the federally funded bridge reconstruction project Replacement of The Cecil A. Malone Drive Bridge over Flood Relief Channel. The project includes the following major items of work: Removal of the existing steel beam/concrete deck superstructure Partial removal of the existing concrete substructures Construction of a new shop painted multi-steel beam superstructure with integral abutments Bridge mounted water and sewer installation Approach roadway and driveway tie-in work Off-site signed detour for vehicles with an on-site temporary pedestrian structure.
