BES is seeks contractors with demonstrated experience in wastewater treatment, force main and pump station construction, and will engage the successful Proposers for on-call services as described, Equitable contracting practices are of paramount importance for the work awarded from this RFP. Contractors will ideally support the City's equity and corporate responsibility initiatives to increase COBID certified businesses participation & increase racial and gender diversity. In the City's discretion, litigation between the City and a Proposer may be cause for Proposal rejection, regardless of when that litigation comes to the City's attention and regardless how the Proposer's Proposal may have been scored. The Base Term of the Price Agreements shall be for a period of two (2) years from the date of execution of a Price Agreement. The Price Agreements will contain two options to extend for an additional 1.5 years at $1.5 million per renewal period.
