Remove and replace roof at the Elementary School Roofer Shall: 1. Remove1 layer of existing composition roofing and replace it with a new GAF asphalt composition roof system. 2. Remove existing metal roofing and replace it with new IB Roof Systems White 80 Mil Membrane roof system. 3. Give one bid for GAF HD Timberline and one bid for GAF Ultra Timberline roofing (alternate) complete roofing system. 4. Give one bid for IB Roof Systems White 80 Mil PVC Membrane complete roofing system. 5. Contractor/Installer of GAF system must be a GAF Master Elite Certified Contractor and provide written documentation from GAF of Master Elite Status. Additionally, contractor shall provide documentation that they are authorized to install this roofing system in the geographical area where the project is located. 6. Contractor to provide a GAF Commercial Golden Pledge Warranty upon completion. 7. Contractor/Installer of IB Roof Systems must be an IB Roof Systems certified Contractor/Installer and provide written documentation from IB Roof Systems verifying certification status. Additionally, contractor shall have a minimum of 5 years of installation experience of the system and provide documentation that they are authorized to install this roofing system in the geographical area where the project is located. 8. Provide at least 3 references of similar roofing projects completed within the past 5 years. 9. For both roofing systems on the project, GAF and IB Roof Systems, provide all necessary roofing system components to provide complete system as recommended by the manufacturer of the roofing system, regardless of whether or not identified in these specifications or by reference. Manufacturer's installation specifications shall supersede these specifications. Provide a complete system using the most stringent specification.
