The Saint Louis Zoo is accepting proposals for the replacement of the Distribution Roof. 1. Remove all existing roof materials down to the metal deck and dispose of material. Inspect the metal deck. If questionable areas are found, provide unit cost to overlay or replace prior to performing the work. 2. Install two layers of 2.6 polyisocyanurate insulation fastened to achieve a 1-60 wind uplift. 3. Insulation attachment: use factory coated steel fasteners and metal plates complying with corrosion resistance provisions in FM Global 4470, designed for fastening roof insulation to metal deck substrate, and acceptable to roofing system manufacturer. 4. Provide a fully adhered 60 mil TPO membrane to the new insulation. Leave coping metal in place and terminate new flashing under back side of existing coping. Secure with slip metal flashing, fastened per manufacturer's recommendations. 5. Adhere new 60 mil TPO flashings at perimeters and penetrations in bonding adhesive. 6. Remove any existing curb flashings. Install new, fully adhered flashings up and over the curb, or install new termination bar and skirt metal counter-flashing detailing as conditions dictate. 7. Install walk pads as per manufacturer's recommendations. 8.
