The project involves full engineering services to improve preservation efforts of the sites archaeological integrity. Anticipated work results include, but are not limited to, hydrologic modeling, and a storm water management plan (hydraulic modeling). Hydrologic engineering services shall provide a Hydrology Model that will observe the flow of water across the site and the collection of water at lower elevations during rainfall events and intermittent flooding. The hydrological engineer will also survey cross sections for the hydrology model. The hydrology model will identify critical erosionprone areas and crucial flood-prone areas to inform the proposed stormwater management plan. The term of the agreement will be one year. The design services will be contracted under both fees and hourly rates in accordance with the Manual of Procedures of the State of Alabama Department of Finance, Real Property Management, Division of Construction Management (DCM).
