Demolition and site work for a residential development in De Soto, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The City is requesting bids for the demolition/removal of the building(s)/structure(s) at 1210 N 4th St, and 321 Perry St. The contractor will be responsible for the removal of the building, foundation, cleanup, etc. from the site. Demo and Land Disturbance permits must be pulled for each location. (fees waived). Bids must list each structure separately with price of each, incomplete bids not listing testing or disposal fees will be rejected. o All utilities must be disconnected with inspections completed (sewer capped) . All the structures must be removed to ground level, foundations cleaned out below ground level, clean fill if foundations are left, lots seeded and strawed. All required D.N.R. and E.P.A. requirements followed, with copies of any related paperwork turned into city. Bidders shall include liability insurance coverage of $1,000,000 or more, auto coverage, and proof of Worker's Compensation to be submitted with bid paperwork. City to be listed as additional insured. All Contractors will be required to have a current city contractor's license. The City of De Soto reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any irregularities with regard to the bidding process. If a contract award is made, it will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible Bidder based on the sole determination of the city. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
