This project shall require that not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages in the County of Jefferson, as directed by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, for each craft and type of worker required on the project, compliance with section 290.250 of the revised Missouri statues and all related sections pertaining to this project is mandatory. Jefferson College is soliciting proposals to lawfully perform asphalt repair, asphalt overlay, sealant, re-striping and disposal of materials removed, as indicated, at the Hillsboro campus. A. BASE BID SPECIFICATIONS 1. Blue Lot, Purple Lot Rotomill, Overlay, and Paint Striping (per supplied map) - Rotomill asphalt 2". - Install fabric (Petromat 4590 or equal) and tack coat. - Install 2" compacted C-Mix Asphalt with FORTA-FI synthetic fiber added. - Remove ALL existing 6" asphalt island curbs and replace with new 6" asphalt curbs. Remove existing perimeter 6" asphalt curbs and replace with 6" curbs. (do not remove any concrete curbs if apparent) - Stripe as appropriate to match current layout, including parking curbs. (Consult the Director of Buildings and Grounds prior to striping for possible modifications.)A detailed inventory must be taken by the contractor to assure ALL CURRENT, painted verbiage is re-painted to match as current. Examples: Visitor, Faculty, No-Parking, Bus Parking, Pedestrian Cross Walks, Fire Lanes, Stop Bars, etc. -Remove and re-install concrete bumper blocks. - Must provide traffic control of pedestrian and or motor vehicles in the event of disruption of traffic flow resulting in needed detour. Arrowed detour signs must be supplied by contractor and approved by the Director of Buildings and Grounds of Jefferson College. - Lawfully dispose of removed material. 2. Orange Lot Rotomill, Overlay and Paint Striping (per supplied map) - Rotomill asphalt 2". - Install fabric (Petromat 4590 or equal) and tack coat. - Install 2" compacted C-Mix Asphalt with FORTA-FI synthetic fiber added. -Remove ALL existing 6" asphalt curbs located within the main drive and side drive of the Administration building and replace with new 6" asphalt curbs. - DO NOT remove concrete curbs or concrete islands. - Stripe as appropriate to match current layout. (Consult the Director of Buildings and Grounds prior to striping for possible modifications) - A detailed inventory must be taken by the contractor to assure ALL CURRENT painted verbiage is re-painted to match as current. Examples: Visitor, Faculty, No-Parking, Bus Parking, Pedestrian Cross Walks, Fire Lanes, Stop Bars, etc. -Remove and re-install concrete bumper blocks.
