Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Annapolis, Maryland. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
N4008022R6609 Proposal is due by 30 March 2022. The work includes The purpose of this project is to provide interior and exterior renovations to the 2,519 SF Bay Recreation Room, BLDG. NA255. The space being renovated will include demolishing the meeting room (sun room) and the attached exterior wooden deck to be replaced by a code compliant and ADA compliant design on the same footprint; demolition of all existing light fixtures, ACT ceilings, flooring, plumbing in restrooms & a center lying wall dividing the main meeting space. Programmatically there is intent for occupancy between 50-75 people so that the space can function as a multi-purpose facility for wedding receptions, parties, etc. To achieve this goal the new design plans to update all existing restrooms to be ADA accessible with new floor finishes, plumbing, and LED lighting; an update to the kitchen including new flooring, lighting, metal ceiling tiles, and kitchen equipment (supplied by owner) with new MEP infrastructure to support it; an update to all electrical wiring and fixtures as well as an all new mechanical HVAC system to support the new program and incidental related work.
