Renovation of a multi-residential development in North Bergen, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11-story above grade multi-residential development.

All labor, material and equipment associated with the improvements / modernization of the two (2) traction elevators in the eleven story Terrace Apartments. The scope of work shall be limited to the following: Replacement of Controllers Replacement of Machines Cab Upgrades Elevator Machine Room Upgrades The Base Bid work of this project, shall be completed in a period of Two Hundred Forty (240) Calendar Days. Work ill be phased so one elevator is operational at all times. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Housing Authority of the Township of North Bergen, United States Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the Bid shall be submitted by each Bidder. The surety company must also be licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey. Attention is called to the provision of Equal Opportunity Employment and Prevailing Wages for payments not less than the minimum salaries ånd wages as set forth in the Specification. Women and Minority Owned Business Contractors are encouraged to submit Bids. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of Bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of the Township of North Bergen. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder. All bids will be reviewed by the Architect and Owner. The contract will be awarded after review is complete. The Owner or Architect, within tbn (10) days of opening, will notify all interested parties as to their decision.
