Renovation of a multi-residential development in Huntsville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade, 100-unit multi-residential development.
Interior renovation of 100 apartment units. 95 2 story and 5 single story ADA units. Scope consists of flooring and tile, drywall, paint, counter top laminate, tub replacement, sink and toilet replacement. All questions pertaining to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) must be submitted in writing no later than seven (7) business days before the bid due date. Written questions may be submitted by email, to the Procurement Officer, Ms. Tracie McCann, at tmccann@hsvha.org or by fax to (256) 533-6344. The bidder agrees to provide HHA with a satisfactory and will be submitted by the successful bidder prior to execution of payment and performance bond executed by the bidder and a corporate surety qualified to do business in Alabama, in an amount equal to, but not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. The bond will be the original, certified copy the contract. Performance Bond. The performance bond is meant to ensure that the contract is successfully completed. The performance bond guarantees that if the Contractor is unable to complete the contract, the surety company will step in to finish the work. In the case of a letter of credit or cash escrow, the HHA may use these funds to complete the contract work. Payment Bond Reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the IFB process and bids received, or to terminate the IFB process at any time, if deemed by the HHA to be in its best interests. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered. An Offeror submitting a late bid shall be so notified.
