The work requires that the vendor or the vendor's installation subcontractor be licensed by the State of California as a C10 Electrical Contractor with EVITP certification. Ideally the vendor should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience with electric charging station installations. The work to be done includes: All aspects of design, installation, function testing, system use training for City employees as necessary to furnish and install ten (10) charging stations at the Corporation Yard and four (4) charging stations at the Fleming Hill Water Treatment Plant. More specifically this includes, but may not necessarily be limited to the following: Design and preparation of specifications and plans for the proposed locations per City, PG&E, and Industry standards and all applicable building and electrical codes; Securing and complying with City Encroachment and Building permits and obtaining and renewing annually, a City Business license; Installation of Level 2 chargers, electrical conduits, breakers, transformer, subpanel, and electric connection to supply power for the complete installation and operation of the EV chargers; Furnishing Chargepoint CPF50 Chargers or approved equal, EV charger material and equipment for a complete in place system; Installation of signage, pavement markings and restoration of existing conditions; Restoration of (1) parking spot to conform to ADA standards; Testing and commission of the EV charger stations; Installation and enabling for city fleet access and power sharing between the chargers; Providing timely maintenance services and customer support for a period of three years from the date the City accepts the project as complete.
