As of May 12, 2022, per the owner this project has been awarded. Additional award details have not been confirmed at this time. The project involves construction sidewalks and ADA curb ramps, storm water improvements, streetlight relocation, mill and overlay. This project is being carried out with funding from the Pennsylvania Multimodal Transportation Fund. Full compliance with State Prevailing Wages, Equal Employment Opportunity, Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and all other applicable Federal, State, or Municipal Regulations is required. A bid bond for 10% of the bid amount is required. As soon as the bid prices have been compared, the bonds of all except the three lowest responsible bidders will be returned. When the agreement is executed, these bonds will also be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a bid bond. Attorney-in-Fact who signs bid bonds, performance bond, or payment bond must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power-of-Attorney. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds, each in an amount of 100% of the contract price. Bidders must fulfill all requirements of bid documents as applicable for consideration as a complete bid. Please read documents carefully. Bids may be held by Loretto Borough for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. Loretto Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids that may be in the best interest of the Borough and to waive any and all informalities.
