Site work and paving for a road / highway in Viola, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The board for the Town of Forest will accept sealed bids for sealcoating. Bids will be priced per mile 20 feet wide, single coating of hard surfaced roads. Price per mile 20 feet wide, double sealcoat of gravel surfaced roads. Bid shall be priced with Town of Forest furnishing chips, Bidder furnishing chips, and bidder furnishing coated chips (3/8 washed ,fractured quartz chips are acceptable for coated chips). Amount of chips to be applied per mile shall also be furnished (amount applied shall be listed by tons per 20 ft. mile and shall be at a minimum of 150 tons per 20 ft. mile). Contractor to furnish PG-5-28 5% Cutback Liquid Asphalt furnished and blended at a State of Wisconsin and AASHTO certified liquid asphalt production facility, proportioned with certified scales and power mixer blended to specifications, heated to 350 degrees F, and applied. Amount of liquid asphalt to be applied per mile shall also be furnished (amount applied shall be listed by tons Liquid asphalt shall be applied at a minimum rate of 4250 gallons per 20 ft. Mile). After brush cleaning pot holes shall be hand patched at no additional charge up to 2 tons per mile. The sealed envelope shall be clearly marked as Sealcoating Bid. The winning bidder shall furnish to the Town Clerk within 10 days of the bid being let proof of insurance.
