A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Rosebud Sioux Tribe (owner) is requesting Sealed Bids for the construction of the following Project: RST Community System Water System Improvements - Swift Bear - Rebid Submittal of the Bid shall be in accordance with Article 14 of the Instruction to Bidders. The Project includes the following Work: Furnish and Install approximately 3,103 LF 6 diameter, and associated service lines; Furnish and Install valves, flushing hydrants, and other metal joint fittings; Approximately 3,893 SY of full depth roadway reclamation and stabilization; Furnish and Install approximately 1,773 Tons of base course; Furnish and Install approximately 659 Tons of asphalt concrete; Demolition and removal of existing storage tanks; Surface restoration and all other miscellaneous work required not herein mentioned, but inferred from the construction Contract Documents. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon a non-refundable payment in the sum of $53.00 including applicable taxes and fees for each set of Bidding Documents. Upon request, in accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 5-18B-1, one copy of electronic or paper Bidding Documents shall be furnished, without charge, to each prime contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to submit a bid to the Owner. By submitting a proposal, the bidder agrees to comply with the provisions of the Rosebud Sioux Tribes Tribal Employment Contracting Rights Ordinance (TECRO). The CONTRACTOR shall make investigations with the TECRO office BEFORE a bid will be accepted. Indian owned bidders will be given preference if they are within 5 percent above the contract bid amount of the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The Rosebud Sioux Tribe reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, or accept any bid or combination thereof which appears to serve the best interests of the Tribe. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States.
