The City of Fayetteville is seeking certified contractors for the Installation of new, 1-inch copper water service lines for all existing water meters on Skyler Drive, Willowbrook Drive, and Evening Shade Drive from the existing water line to 18 inches past the water meter. For meters on the same side of the street as the water line, replacement of all existing service lines. For meters on the opposite side of the street, installation of new 1-inch copper service lines within the existing 2-inch diameter service lines. Removal and repair of roadway asphalt, concrete driveway, and sidewalk as needed to install service lines and all other items set out in the drawings and specifications for a complete installation. The City of Fayetteville shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected bids, or failure of bidder's technical equipment. Bidders shall be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the Project is located. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. A one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bond is required with the contract awarded. A State of Arkansas Contractor's License is required for all bidders and license shall be valid at the time of bid deadline.
