The Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA) is soliciting responses from qualified consultants to provide basic professional civil architect design services as defined by the DFA/Division of Building Authority Minimum Standards and Criteria (MSC) for cemetery expansion and development located at 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas in Pulaski County. ADVA is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional landscape architect design services for capital improvements consisting of: Expansion of its Crypts and Oversized Crypt burial area by adding 4,000 -5000 Crypts and 100 +/- Oversized Crypts. Adding infrastructure to the property for 223 +/- acres by adding a road for expansion entrance and to reduce service interruptions, property under fencing and columns and sign along Maryland Ave. and Batesville Pike. Improvements to water storage, irrigation, reservoir improvements, fuel storage, fencing, gravel and grass pave, grading, drainage system, health safety and welfare improvements, drainage, landscaping, wayfinding and infrastructure improvements. A detailed request for qualifications (RFQ) package will be provided to interested parties outlining the submittal requirements and selection methodology. Responses received for this RFQ will be used to screen prospective consultants and select finalist for interview in accordance with the MSC. The Agency reserves the right to negotiate fees on a percentage basis, lump sum basis or an hourly not-to-exceed basis on individual project assignments as appropriate for the contemplated work.
