As of April 25, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Kenton County Fiscal Court (Owner) is soliciting lump-sum bids for furnishing labor, materials, and performing all work for the Kenton County, Independence Courthouse Phase 3 Renovation. The Project consists of but is not limited to Site concrete demo and main stair replacement, Reworking of downspout transitions to storm piping, Exterior metal fascia / scupper / columns removal and replacement, Roofing / coping removal and replacement, New portico porch roof / columns, Lightning protection removal and replacement, and other work indicated in the Contract Documents, as set forth in the Construction Documents prepared by the Architect. Bidders shall notify the Architect GRW Jimmy Piper by email jpiper@grwinc.com if they find a discrepancy or omission in the drawings or specifications, or if the Bidder is in doubt as to the meaning of any drawing or specification. Written clarification in the form of addenda will be issued to all know plan holders. No addenda or clarifications will be issued less than four calendar days before the bid date. F. Time of Completion and Liquidated Damages: 1. Successful bidder shall commence Work within 14 calendar days of receipt of Notice of Award. 2. The Work shall be completed in 120 days Substantial Completion, and 30 days to achieve Final Completion. Work is subject to liquidated damages at the rate of $250.00 per day for work not fully complete beyond 150 days. G. Bidders Qualifications: Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work.
