This project consists of new academic building including a multipurpose space, dining area, kitchen, classrooms and support spaces. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount or a certified check for a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Bids in excess of $50,000.00 must be marked on the outside of the envelope with the contractors Mississippi certificate of responsibility number as issued by the Mississippi Board of Contractors. This is a federally funded project and shall comply with all State and Federal requirements, including but not limited to compliance with any applicable Davis-Bacon Act requirements and other laws and regulations as referenced in the Construction Documents and Specifications. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. This project will consist of the following general scope of work.
