Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Springfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any defect in a bid which does not materially alter the contract documents. This bid is for the renovation of the Springfield Reserve Center for use by the Springfield Police Division. The scope of this bid is indicated by the items listed hereunder and in accordance with the specifications herein. This specification is for the renovation of the Safety Services Center, 1515 W. High St. Springfield, Ohio 45502 Construct new Conference room, office and storage closet. Walls are to be constructed as follows. 3 5/8" 20 gauge metal framed insulated walls to extend 2" above the existing suspended ceiling with 5/8" drywall finished and painted, install new hollow metal doors and frames with small format IC core lever sets. Relocate electrical outlets from columns to new walls. o Replace west hallway exterior double metal hollow door and frame with same size as existing. Doors are to have electrified latch panic bars with levers and small format IC core rim with storeroom function (Sargent 56-12-8804-G-ETL-US10B or equal) and 6" X 27" security wire lights. Access card reader mounted outside. o Room 114 - Remove and infill existing door, relocate to the south facing wall and install new 60" base cabinet with 60" stainless steel counter top with bar sink and associated infrastructure. o Rekey 14 existing doorways. o Install KeyScan CA8500 8 door card access controller for 4 connected doors. Card readers are to be Keyscan - KPROX3. o Install new LVT flooring throughout. o New paint throughout (one coat primer and two coats Pro Mar 200 semi-gloss or equal). o Rooms 117-120 - Demo existing partition walls, suspended ceiling and flooring to convert area back into a garage (see 1984 demo print attached). Demo exterior wall to the existing lintel and jambs, patch and repair EFIS. Install new insulated overhead door with operator and access control with card reader outside. Install new 42" hollow metal door in opening. The door shall have small format IC core storeroom function leveret and 12V DC electric strike and card reader in garage. Install mag lock and card reader at interior glass double doors. o In Shooting Simulator room, demo interior block partition wall, flooring and repair the suspended ceiling grid where the wall was protruding and replace ceiling tiles with new black impact resistant tiles. Install 1 for 1 new lay in 2 X 2 Dimmable LED fixtures (Rab EZPANFA2X2/D10 or equal). o Install new 348 MBH (30 ton) chiller with BACnet communications and reconnect to existing chilled water piping. Flush piping prior to connecting to new. o Remove and replace existing 1400 MBH output boiler with two 90+% efficient condensing boilers. Both are to alternate lead-lag and have BACnet communications.
