Floyd County Countywide Transit Study to evaluate current and future services, need, providers, alternatives, cost estimates, and implementation in Seymour District This Request for Proposals (RFP) is official notification of needed professional services. This RFP is being issued to solicit a letter of Interest (LOI) and other documents from firms qualified to perform engineering work on federal aid projects. A submittal does not guarantee the firm will be contracted to perform any services but only serves notice the firm desires to be considered. The study will research and identify current transit regulations, demographics for those areas that currently lack services, current and future services need, potential service providers, propose alternative solutions, develop cost estimates and implementation plans. Phases Included: PE, Planning Study Funding: $250,000 Federal, $62,500 Local, $312,500 Total Term of Contract: 1 Year The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
