Location: Chelmsford Project Type: DCAMM-General Building Construction MASSDOT - Improvements to the Visitors Center on I-495 (NB) General Bid Date : 05/3/2022 at 2:00 PM ET P.V. = $595,000.00 The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women GENERAL o Coordinate with the work of other trades. o Provide all temporary protection necessary to prevent water leakage and damage during construction. o Work Included: Provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following: o Removal and replacement of the existing asphalt shingle roofing and select areas of metal roofing, including membrane underlayment's and flashings as well as gutters and down-leaders. o Repairs to rotted fascia and rafter tails. o Cleaning and painting of all interior surfaces, including but not limited to walls, doors, floors, counters, and fixtures. o Mold/mildew are present throughout on interior surfaces and will need to be removed prior to painting surfaces, as well as from all other surfaces to remain including but not limited to toilet partitions, toilet accessories, and window assemblies. A report on same is included in this Specification. o Painting of new and existing exterior fascia and trim along roof line. o Painting of existing and new exterior steel bollards adjacent to the exterior of the building. GENERAL (continued) o Painting of existing and new interior walls o Painting of existing interior person-door steel frames and doors slabs. o Existing and new/repaired facia and trim along roof edges. o Providing one (1) new exterior bollard. o Removal and replacement of interior plumbing fixtures and equipment. o Removal and replacement of acoustic ceiling tile assemblies and above-ceiling insulation. o Removal and replacement of portions of concrete finish coating and entryway carpet. o Removal and replacement of mechanical equipment. o Removal and replacement of select interior and exterior building-mounted light fixtures. o Removal and replacement of fire alarm devices
