The Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District operated the Jordan Valley Water Treatment plant in Herriman, Utah. Much of the landscaping around the treatment plant consists of grass turf. The District desires to replace this grass turf with water-wise landscaping. This project consists of removing grass turf from the areas specified on the drawings, excavating a small swale on the north plot, planting new shrubs throughout the project area, installing new irrigation lines to service the new and existing plants, and laying rock mulch over the project area. AWARD OF CONTRACT: An Award of Contract, if it were awarded, will be made within 60 calendar days of the opening of bids. NOTICE TO PROCEED: A Notice to Proceed, if it were issued, will be made within 60 calendar days of the Notice of Award. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, money order or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price payable to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, provide evidence of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory faithful performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price and a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner Estimated Construction Cost $140,000 - $200,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
