RIVER FRONT PARK IMPROVEMENTS Contract #PR-001 This project includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment to complete the following improvements: Construction per design plans and includes, site grading, automatic entrance gate, concrete sidewalk, electrical for entrance gate, park accessories, asphalt parking areas and landscaping. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw a bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Municipality of Norristown in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids Only bonds from companies licensed, to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Bid surety checks and bid bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders after the awarding and signing of the Contract. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract; a Maintenance Bond in the amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total contract price, as well as a Certificate of Insurance. All bidders submitting a bid greater than or equal to $350 ,000 are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with the MunicipalitiesaEUR(TM) Responsible Contractor Ordinance Project to comply with the Prevailing Wage requirements that are included in the bid documents. Weekly wage reports are required to be submitted for awarded contract. This project is being financed in part by DCNR grant funds.
