Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Springfield Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of May 16, 2022 This project is awarded to US Bridge with awarded amount of $279,910.00. Project is now under construction. Furnishing, installing, and removing a temporary bridge over Little Walnut Creek near the Intersection of Barnes Lane (TR-232), and Walnut Creek Rd. (CR-233). Temporary bridge will serve as a crossing while existing bridge is replaced. Furnish and install one galvanized steel bridge, on abutments prepared by County, on Barnes Lane Road (TR-232). Bridge No. ROS TR-232-0230. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements for Ross County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Labor. All bidders must conform to Section 153.59 of the Ohio Revised Code concerning discrimination. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids for the best interest of the County.
