The City of Burlington requires a Contractor for the cleaning and inspection of 4,300 ( /-) Catch Basins annually, including the transport and disposal of material. For each Catch Basin cleaned the Contractor shall conduct an inspection of the condition of the Catch Basin frame and grate, riser components and overall structural integrity of the basin. The Contractor shall clean out the Catch Basins, transport and appropriately dispose of the material at an approved waste disposal facility only. Dewatering or decanting into the sanitary or stormwater systems or any other location other than an approved waste disposal facility is not permitted.
