The approximate quantities are: general excavation, 500 cubic yards; contractor furnished borrow material in-place, 300 cubic yards; aggregate base, 600 tons; concrete walks and driveways 8500 square feet, concrete curb and gutter, 1600 feet; advance pedestrian crossing warning sign system, complete, lump sum; and all other work called for in the plans and specifications The Class of Work for this Project is either: Earthwork and Drainage or Asphalt Concrete Paving and Oiling or Miscellaneous Highway Appurtenances. Each bid must be submitted on the required forms and be accompanied by bid security, in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008, or surety bond payable to Lane County, in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of bid. This is a Lane County Project. No Federal Aid funds are involved. Estimated cost range: $600,000 to $800,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Lane County may reject a bid that does not comply with prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, including the requirement to demonstrate the bidder's responsibility under ORS 279C.375(3)(b), and the County may reject for good cause all bids after finding that doing so is in the public interest.
