Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Bangor, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Bangor requests bids from qualified Bidders to construct approximately 520 feet of 12-inch diameter ductile iron water main replacement with appurtenances, 260 LF of 24-inch diameter sewer, 370 feet of 24-inch diameter stormdrain, install 2 sewer manholes, install 4 catch basins, and surface restoration. The work is to be substantially completed by November 18, 2022. Bidders must furnish a bid guarantee equivalent to five percent (5%) of the bid price. In addition, the CONTRACTOR awarded a construction contract must furnish performance and payment bonds, each of which shall be in an amount not less than 100 percent of the contract price. CONTRACTORS shall obtain such construction insurance (e.g., fire and extended coverage, workmen's compensation, public liability and property damage, and "all risk" builders risk as is customary and appropriate. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents on compact disk will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service.
