Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for the construction of a 72-unit multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Plans call for the redevelopment of the Clinton-Peabody Apartments. The property includes 358 residential units over 31 buildings. Clinton-Peabody was built in 1942 and is the oldest property in the St. Louis Housing Authority's portfolio. As of September 9, 202, demolition had commenced last week. Phase 1 will consist of demolishing four buildings on the block bounded by Chouteau, Dillon, LaSalle and St. Ange and replacing them with three buildings totaling 72-units. Demolition will start later this year, and construction of the new units will start in early 2026. The buildings are scheduled to be completed mid-2027.
