Herrick Avenue Park and Ride Bids are required for the entire work as described herein: PROJECT SCOPE This project consists, in general, of tidal marsh habitat restoration and public access improvements on approximately 114 acres of City of Eureka owned property located north and south of Elk River bound by Pound Road, Highway 101, Tooby Road and Humboldt Bay. The work generally includes vegetation clearing, grubbing, invasive plant species removal, soil excavation, transport, placement, and grading of excavated materials on a marsh plain to construct estuary tidal channels, shallow wetlands, habitat fills, and upland berms. Construction of approximately one-mile Class 1 multi-use trail, related drainage improvements, seed/mulch, and all environmental protection BMP's and related permit conditions as depicted in the Plans and Specifications.
