Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Pomona, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.
Kemp Bros. Construction Inc. (KBCI) is soliciting bids to engage subcontractors to provide design assist construction services for the City of Pomona Water Resources Building. The Subcontractors engaged through this procurement will be required to work with KBCI and our Design Team in a collaborative manner to advance the design to approved design documents and to construct the approved design. The contract documents available to Subcontractors for bidding and establishment of Subcontractor's total sum do not indicate or describe in detail all work required for the full performance and completion of Subcontractor's work. Subcontractors are required to review and acknowledge KBCI Subcontractor Agreement and Design Assist Attachment prior to bid. The project includes design and construction of a new Administration Bldg (+/-10,036 sf), Warehouse/Shared Facilities Bldg (+/-9,779 sf) and Stable Bldg (+/-4,213 sf). The project includes new site walls and gates, covered material storage bins, vehicular and pedestrian paving, hardscape, landscape planting and irrigation system, utility systems, site lighting, and site security with access control systems. The project is scheduled to be completed in one continuous design and construction phase. Design assist work shall commence within (14) days after execution of contract, construction activities are anticipated to begin in June 2022 with substantial completion in February 2024.
