The project Base Bid generally includes: For Knightsbridge Road, Darby Circle East and West, Oxford Court, Berwick Court, Stafford Court, Bedford Court, Suffolk Court, York Court, Prince William Court, Jennifer Court, Rochelle Drive, Ariel Drive, Liat Drive, Christopher Lane, Woodhurst Drive, Honey Locust Lane, Dewberry Drive, Jessica Way, Parkview Terrace, Lakeview Terrace, Juniper Street, Carol Court, and Hampton Drive; milling 1.5" thick for 92,500 SY and overlaying 1.5" thick of 9,750 Tons of HMA, base repair and Petrotac crack repair (If & Where Directed), traffic sign replacement, traffic striping and related appurtenances. For Alternate Bid #1 Shelter Rock Road; milling 1.5" thick for 4,860 SY and overlaying 1.5" thick of 431 Tons of HMA, base repair, traffic sign replacement, traffic striping and related appurtenances. Alternate Bid #2 Cedar Mill Lane; milling 1.5" thick for 4,620 SY and overlaying 1.5" thick of 410 Tons of HMA, base repair (If & Where Directed), traffic striping and related appurtenances. Alternate Bid #3 Butternut Court; milling 1.5" thick for 1,236 SY and overlaying 1.5" thick of 110 Tons of HMA, base repair (If & Where Directed), traffic sign replacement, traffic striping and related appurtenances. Alternate Bid #4 Knotty Oak Drive; milling 1.5" thick for 1,377 SY and overlaying 1.5" thick of 125 Tons of HMA, base repair and Petrotac crack repair (If & Where Directed), traffic sign replacement, traffic striping and related appurtenances. Alternate Bid #5 Cedarwood Court; milling 1.5" thick for 1,077 SY and overlaying 1.5" thick of 105 Tons of HMA, base repair and Petrotac crack repair (If & Where Directed), traffic striping and related appurtenances. Alternate Bid #6 Woodstone Court; milling 1.5" thick for 1,076 SY and overlaying 1.5" thick of 105 Tons of HMA, base repair and Petrotac crack repair (If & Where Directed), traffic striping and related appurtenances. Alternate Bid #7 Woodhurst Court; milling 1.5" thick for 984 SY and overlaying 1.5" thick of 93 Tons of HMA, base repair and Petrotac crack repair (If & Where Directed), traffic sign replacement, traffic striping and related appurtenances. Alternate Bid #8 Police Parking Lot; milling 2" thick for 1,896 SY and overlaying 2" thick of 280 Tons of HMA, base repair (If & Where Directed), traffic striping and related appurtenances. Bidders are notified that the Township intends to award the Base Bid plus any Alternate Bids in the following order: Alternate Bid #8, Alternate Bid #1, Alternate Bid #2, Alternate Bid #3, Alternate Bid #4, Alternate Bid #5, Alternate Bid #6 then Alternate Bid If contract documents are to be mailed, there is an additional $15.00 fee for postage. Proposals must be made on the standard Proposal Form, in the manner designated therein and required by the Specification. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent form from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance Bond upon award of contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the sum of the full amount of the contract. The Township of Eastampton assumes no responsibility for bids returned by mail or delivered after the deadline for submission of bids. Contractor shall be required to provide a copy of its business registration certificate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-23.2 upon award of contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, in whole or part, or to make awards to such bidder who, in the judgement of the Township of Eastampton makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. The successful bidder shall supply all labor, materials and equipment required to complete the work as set forth in the general provisions of the contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Technical Specifications. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of the bids or any authorized postponement thereof. Bids received after time and date designated shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
