The City of Pearland (City) seeks qualified vendors for an Annual Agreement to perform Quarterly Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services for Generators for various City facilities for the Public Works Department on an as needed basis, in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this bid. All questions regarding this ITB should be submitted via email to ebids@pearlandtx.gov. Questions should be submitted in writing to no later 5:00 P.M., Monday, March 14 , 2022 to ebids@pearlandtx.gov Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of the Contract are not binding. Pre-bid conference Not Applicable If a bid security is required for this purchase, the requirement will be reflected in the "Specification" section of the bid package. Cashier's check or an acceptable surety bond in the amount indicated in the Notice to Bidders must be submitted at the time the bid is submitted and is subject to forfeiture in the event the successful bidder fails to execute the contract documents within 10 calendar days after the contract has been awarded. When Payment and/or Performance Bonds are required, the successful Bidder must provide the bonds, in the amounts and on the conditions required, within 14 calendar days after notification of award, or as otherwise required by the Solicitation. The term of this Agreement shall begin on the date stated in Purchase Order ("Effective Date") and shall expire one year from the effective date, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. This Agreement may be renewed under the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, unless City or Vendor provides the other party with notice of non-renewal at least 60 days before the expiration of the initial term or renewal period. Pre-Bid Conference: Not Applicable The City expressly reserves the right to:Waive as an informality, minor deviations from specifications provided they do not affect competition or result in functionally unacceptable goods or services;Reject a bid because of unbalanced unit prices bid.Reject or cancel any or all Bids.Reissue a Solicitation.The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.The City reserves the right to amend or require additional types and amounts of coverages or provisions depending on the nature of the work.
