Ware County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for complete installation of the 2021 LMIG Safety Action Plan. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Ware County Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract within ten (10) days of a Notice of Award. The Scope of Work Includes installation of pavement striping, markings, raised pavement markers, and related work to meet industry safety standards. All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days upon receipt of a written Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
