Tuskegee University's Campbell Hall Renovations & MEP Upgrades. - Teaching and Learning Laboratories Demolition, Mold Remediation, Renovations and Mechanical Systems Upgrades for Campbell Hall Teaching and Learning Laboratories Campbell Hall Laboratory Renovations MEP incl. Fire Protection Upgrades Mold Remediation Interior and Exterior Renovations The project is based on the modernization of a three-story 28,740 SF building referred to as Campbell Hall. The scope of work is included but not limited to: Selective demolition of walls, doors, flooring, toilet partitions and accessories, plumbing fixtures, HVAC equipment and interior lighting. Mold and hazardous materials removal and remediation. New lab casework and cabinetry in specified areas. Upgrade roofing insulation in select areas to improve the overall energy efficiency. New ADA doors and door hardware. New solar blinds at all windows to improve energy efficiency. New interior glass storefronts to allow natural lighting and transparency within research areas. Replace interior walls in specified areas throughout the building; completely replace walls that were infiltrated by mold and mildew. Replace all flooring, ceilings and epoxy paint throughout the building. Replace all toilet partitions and accessories in restrooms. restrooms are to be ADA accessible. Replacing the existing elevator by upgrading to an efficient model. Providing a design-build Fire Protection Sprinkler System throughout the building spaces and a fire suppression system in laboratories as required by code Modifying the existing HVAC system and install new HVAC equipment and components to provide an energy efficient heating and cooling system. Provide major upgrades and maintenance measures to the existing HVAC system. Installing a new centralized smart controls and energy conservation system to regulate the HVAC system as it automatically adjusts to increased body and equipment temperatures during high and low peak occupancy and operational hours.
