Renovation of a mixed-use development in Westbrook, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

All bid packages must be submitted on the forms provided and marked with the name of the bid package that is being bid. For all questions, please contact Roger LaFleur at 860-485-8879 or Pmrlafleur@yahoo.com All bid questions are to be submitted by Monday, March 14, 2022 Equipment to be purchased and installed will meet all the requirements as specified in plans, specifications. This project will be funded fully by Board of Education funds. Bids not meeting the requirements in specifications, plans and the RFP will be immediately disqualified. *2 hard copies must be submitted. All bids over $50,000 must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond or Certified Check of the base bid and must be submitted with the bid package and made payable to the Westbrook Board of Education. The Westbrook Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities, or; to accept or reject any bid deemed in the best interests of the Westbrook Board of Education. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days Daisy Ingraham School The Unit, designated for replacement, (Task Unit) is located above the ceiling outside the library and computer room entrance. The unit provides heating and air conditioning to both areas. The unit has a water coil piped to the central boiler. The unit also has a fully contained air-conditioning package, (compressor deck, evaporator and condenser). The replacement unit must meet or exceed the minimum specifications of the existing unit. Westbrook High School The replacement of nine (9) ceiling-mounted cabinet heating fan coil units, and one (1) additional unit located by the cafeteria. The new units must meet or exceed the current specifications of the existing equipment. This project is a "Turnkey Project" and should be ready for full operation by August 22, 2022, (see notes below regarding schedule). The contractor selected for this project will be responsible for the installation of all of the components including reconnection of ductwork, piping, condensate and controls. Any contractor submitting a proposal must meet the minimum qualifications as expressed in the RFP.
