INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT 14 Fridley Public Schools is seeking bids for the Fridley High School steam to hot water conversion project. -Remove existing steam boilers (2) and all associated steam piping, condensate piping and apparatus and all boiler feedwater systems. -Remove shell & tube heat exchangers located in the boiler room and five mechanical rooms. Remove all steam and condensate systems associated with heat exchangers. Remove hot water distribution pumps and their associated piping. -Remove remaining steam fin tube radiation (FTR) and unit heaters and associated steam and condensate piping. -Remove existing domestic water heating equipment and systems. -Install Owner-purchased equipment: -Three Fulton Endura+ hot water heating boilers, to include breeching, gas regulators and inline filters. Listed e-stops are deleted. (See attached Ryan Co. proposal.) -Three Bell & Gossett Series e-80 Primary boiler pumps. Three Bell & Gossett Series e-1510 base-mounted Secondary pumps. Includes pumprelated equipment. (See attached Mulcahy proposal.) -Three AO Smith BTH 300 domestic water heaters. (See attached First Supply Proposal.) -A new firm gas meter will be provided and installed by CenterPoint Energy on an outside wall. Coordinate new gas piping with installer. Provide and install new gas distribution manifold in boiler room per plans. Modify gas piping distribution as indicated on plans. -Provide and install new hot water heating distribution piping per plans. Pipe routing to include interior distribution and roof mounted piping distribution systems. -Provide and install new FTR where indicated on plans. -Provide and install new hot water unit heaters where indicated on plans. -Relocate existing domestic hot water recirc pumps where indicated. -Provide and install new roof hatch and access stair where indicated on drawings. -Modify existing stairs and walkways in boiler room as indicated on plans.
