Renovation of a residential development in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Syracuse Housing Authority, Syracuse, New York, will receive bids for the replacement of heating boilers, DHW storage tanks and other associated piping & equipment at Ross Towers, 710-712 Lodi Street. Work of the project will be performed through a single prime Mechanical Construction contract. All bids must be accompanied by a completed "Representations, Certifications, and Other Statements of Bidders", and each bid must be secured by a certified check, bank draft or properly executed bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the entire bid and made payable to the Syracuse Housing Authority. Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, Minority and Women's Business Opportunities, and resident employment (Section 3) requirements, and Bidders shall complete and submit a MWBE Plan and Section 3 Plans with their bid. The minimum salaries and wages applicable to this project are set forth in the specifications. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
