Renovation of a mixed-use development in Pine Plains, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 73,000-square-foot educational facility.
1. Deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders to all submitting bids. Any bidder requiring (CD's) to be shipped shall make arrangements directly with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. 2. Any bidder requiring paper copies of the Bidding Documents, Drawings and Specifications shall make arrangements directly with the printer and pay for all printing, packaging and shipping costs. Such costs are non-refundable. Each Bidder must deposit a Bid Security in the amount and form per the conditions provided in Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the receipt of bids. Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date. The award of Contract(s) pursuant to this notice is subject appropriation of funds for this purpose in accordance with the applicable provisions of the General Municipal Law. All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal law of the State of New York and all other applicable statues and have attached a statement of non-collusion. All documents submitted in connection with this bid will become the property of the Pine Plains Central School District, who will not be obligated to return bids or bid documents. Contract(s) will be awarded by the Owner to the lowest responsible bidder(s). In cases where two or more responsible Bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Owner may award the Contract to either of such bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and readvertise for new bids in its discretion and/or to waive any informality in any bid which is deems immaterial in nature The Pine Plains Central School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject all Bids without explanation. COLD SPRINGS ELEMENTARY 13-13-01-04-0-002-007 SEYMOUR SMITH SCHOOL 13-13-01-04-0-001-016 STISSING MT JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL 13-13-01-04-0-009-017 The Scope of Work related to the public-school buildings in this Project includes but is not limited to; Replacement of antiquated mechanical equipment including heating boilers and other terminal equipment, related ventilation duct work, controls, plumbing and electrical work. Removal of existing 20,000gal fuel oil tank, and replacement with new LP tanks/vaporizer system. Replacement of approximately 73,000 SF of existing roofs on two buildings, with a new EPDM system, including limited related abatement of ACM. Miscellaneous reconstruction/restoration of exterior masonry facades and parapet walls. Brick masonry re-pointing, cleaning & treatment. Abatement of existing interior VAT, and new VCT floor finishes. Reconstruction at existing Gymnasium, including new wood athletic floor system.
