Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Battle Creek, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project site, of approximately 117 acres, is located in the Township of Emmett, on the south side of E. Michigan Avenue. The site is owned and managed by Calhoun County. The work consists of existing gravel pavement removal and construction of a crushed aggregate road, 10' asphalt pathway, entrance sign, two new gravel parking areas, four (4) paved ADA parking spaces, concrete walkways, vault toilet bathrooms, and bollard installation. County replies to questions submitted by Vendors will be published to the Vendor Registry web portal and will be made available to all vendors registered under this RFP Contractor proposals must include a certified check or acceptable bid bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal amount. Substantial completion of all proposed improvements by November 30, 2022. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and irregularities in proposals or proposal procedures, and to accept any proposal determined by the County to be in the best interests of the County, even though not the lowest proposal.
