Mark Culver with ECICOG at 319-289-0061 can answer any questions you may have regarding the proposed work, payments and any other information relating to the work. Bids will be totaled on a lump sum and unit price basis and please round each line item to the nearest dollar amount. Housing inspector approves all change orders. A pre-construction meeting will be held within thirty (30) days of bid award. Work shall commence within fourteen (14) days following the notice to proceed and shall be completed within 90 days. Payments may be made to the contractor when 50% and 100% ofthe contract value ofthe work is completed. Retainage will be withheld from the progress payment in the amount of 10%. Payments will be made by the City of Washington.
