Yes PART A: Replace and or repair defective fire dampers identified in the 2020 annual preventive maintenance report. The report identifies a single damper is not accessible and require assess door, 31 dampers did not trip or only partially tripped, the report recommends 4 fire dampers need to be installed or replaced, 9 dampers that need repairs to the retaining angle and 3 missing links. Inspection and Maintenance - "1) Defects that interfere with the operation of closures in fire separations shall be corrected, and such closures shall be maintained to ensure that they are operable at all times" Fire damper deficiency repairs were already raised in 2018 under project GOC665921 in 2018. Only the Small Craft Harbor and Annex building were done. DFO requested Main building not to be included due to planned building modernization project which may not be complete until about 2024. 2) Additional hardware and fire stopping as required. 3) Testing of each fire damper to ensure operability. PART B: As per site investigation done on 2022-02-09, 7 additional dampers were discovered in building, that were not on the Air Movement Services reports. These have not been tested for 12 yrs. And are assumed to be no longer functional. Contractor to procure new fire dampers, remove existing, install and test new dampers. Applies to damper 1-076, 1-077, 3-114, 3-115, 3-116, 3-117.
