Site work for a civil project in Portsmouth, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a 14,253-square-foot water / sewer project.
Procedures for submitting a Bid, claiming an error, withdrawing of Bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders. HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Project or Work consists of a replacement flow and pressure meter vault with accommodations for water quality monitoring and valves and connectivity to facilitate isolation and hauling of flows upstream of the Elizabeth River Crossing (ERC) (SF-221) adjacent to the abandoned diversion structure at Virginia Port Authority (VPA) Portsmouth Marine Terminal (PMT). The Project also involves demolition and abandonment of the former outfall structure at the VPA PMT at Pinners Point. A second vault for pressure metering and water quality monitoring will be installed on the downstream side of ERC in Norfolk on Redgate Avenue across from the City-owned Fergus Reid Tennis Park. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid.
