A second dosing point is located upstream of the Fish Creek Headworks to control hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and odours at the Fish Creek Plant. Hydrogen peroxide is generally added to the wastewater flow each year from late spring to early fall. The Suppllier will be required to supply a guaranteed delivery of bulk hydrogen peroxide on an as-needed basis and the associated dosing system and storage equipment along with operation and maintenance services. The highest rated proponent will be requested to enter an Agreement with The City for the provision of the Deliverables. The term of the Agreement may include a Proof of Concept, with an option in favour of The City to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for an initial term of up to two (2) years. After the initial term, The City will have an option to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for four (4) additional two (2) year terms for a potential total term of ten (10) years.
