Bids must be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) on the proposal forms provided and in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and proposal identification. Central Regional School District assumes no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in the bidding if it is in the interest of Central Regional School District to do so. All bidders are placed on notice that they are required to comply with all requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 through 10:5-38) and all duly adopted Affirmative Action Regulations (N.J.A.C. 17:27). All bidders shall comply with The New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act P.L. 1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25, et. Seq.) and The Public Works Contractor Registration Act P.L. 1999 C.238. Certificate of Compliance issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor shall be submitted with bid. If the bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction in trades for Electrical (C047) prior to the date that bids are received. Any bid submitted under the terms of New Jersey Statutes not including a copy of valid and active Prequalification/Classification Certificate will be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. All bidders shall comply with P. L. 2004, C57) Business Registration Act and proof of their registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, shall be submitted with bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a-c), and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22, and to waive any informalities that may be in the best interest of the board.
