As of June 30, 2022, project was awarded to Rock Road Companies, Inc, awarded amount is $340,101.23. The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive electronic bids for the following listed Public Work: C2022-9 Traxler Parking Lot Improvements - For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the construction and completion of approximately 3,400 S.Y. asphalt pulverizing; 4,000 S.Y. asphalt milling; 700 C.Y. unclassified excavation; 2,100 TON aggregate base; 330 L.F. PVC storm sewer with structures; 1,500 L.F. concrete curb and gutter; 1,900 TONS asphalt paving; 1,000 S.F. concrete sidewalk; 4,000 L.F. acrylic pavement markings; 350 L.F. of electrical conduit; 1,100 L.F. of electrical wire; 2 aluminum street light poles, screw in bases, mast arms, fixtures; 1,200 S.Y. lawn restoration; and miscellaneous construction items. All bidders shall bid in accordance with contract docu ment's Section 2 'Information to Bidders'. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk. The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the City Engineer, subject to review by the City Council. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.
