The scope of this project consists of the following: In general the project consists of an approximate first floor area of 36,000 sq. ft. Pre-Engineered Metal framed building to house the Fire Department and EMS for the City of Tomah. Notes: The low responsive bidder will be recommended for contract award. The owner reserves the right to reject any bid, to waive irregularities in the bid or to accept a bid which will be the best interest of the Owner. Bids shall remain open to acceptance for a period of (60) days after bid due date. Accepting separate sealed bid proposals for the following divisions of work: Earthwork and Utilities, Asphalt Paving, Landscaping and Seeding, Cast in Place Site Concrete, Cast in Place Building Concrete, Fences and Gates, Structural Precast Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry Building Insulation, Metal Fabrication, Elastomeric, Membrane Roofing, Aluminum Composite Material Wall Panel Systems, Sectional Overhead Doors, Aluminum Storefronts Windows and Doors, Horizontal Bi-Fold Doors, Drywall and Patching, Flooring, Cabinets and Millwork, Acoustical Panel Ceiling, Painting and finishing, Furnishings, Commercial and Residential Appliances, Plumbing, Fire Protection, HVAC, Electrical and Security, Epoxy Flooring, Flag Pole, Interior and Exterior Signage, and Miscellaneous Specialties Sealed Bids may also be hand delivered between 12 pm. and 2:30 pm, Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at the City of Tomah Municipal Building located at 819 Superior Ave., Tomah, WI. 54660 Bids may not be transmitted via fax machine. Qualification Statement: Bidders shall submit the Contractor Proof of Responsibility form provided in the Specifications with their bid to the City of Tomah Clerk. Failure to submit this information with Bid may result in rejection of the bid as non-responsive. As of May 13, 2022, a general contractor has not yet been announced for this project.
